The Concept

The sports vision concept is quite simple .
The eyes send sensory informations to the brain, the brain interprets and integrates the visual data and then sends out appropriate motor signals to the muscles.
The world top athletes in every sports aren't the ones who are the fastest, the strongest or the one with the best technics.
The world best are the one who think faster and take the right decision before their opponent, we say that they feel the game or they can read the game....
Some 80% of the information we take in is provided by our eyesight .
We all heard the coaches saying "Keep your eyes on the ball", It seems obvious but it's not that easy after 1 or 2 hours on the field....
During a game you should keep an eye on the ball, see where your partners are, avoid your opponents and always know where you are on the field and where you want to go.
To do all that, you don't only need to see well but to have : good Peripheral Awareness, good time reaction, good eye/foot/hand coordination, good dynamic visual acuity and good focus flexibility
Fortunately all that can be trained !
